With a length of 115 mm and a ring gauge of 50, the Quintero Favoritos are very similar to the Petit Robusto format. The Quintero Favoritos are made using the "totalmente a mano, tripa corta" method - as short fillers rolled entirely by hand. The tobaccos for this format come, as is usual with Quintero, from the Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta growing areas.
With their medium-bodied taste, the Quintero Favoritos are an ideal format for beginners who want to get to know the taste of Habanos at an affordable price. By the way, Quintero is one of the few Habanos brands that did not originate in Havana. The founder of the company, Agustín Quintero, together with his four brothers established a factory in 1924 in Cienfuegos, a city on the south coast of Cuba.
