Venezuela's Aragua region has ideal climatic conditions for growing particularly aromatic cane sugar. The raw product is used to produce the "Santa Teresa Solera 1796" according to a 200-year-old family tradition. What makes this special is the special storage system: four selected barrels are stacked on top of each other from the best wood. During this maturing period of at least 15 years, the rum passes through each of these barrels and develops a new note in each one. Finally, it is finished in a very special Limousin oak barrel. This elaborate maturation process pays off: The rum has already received several awards for its taste.
